Who is this registration for?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2026 Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival!
By participating in the Festival, you acknowledge and consent to the use of any photos taken during the event for Festival marketing, advertising, social media, and other promotional communications.
We welcome volunteers of all ages. However, anyone under the age of 18 must submit a completed Parent/Guardian Waiver before volunteering. Volunteers under the age of 14 must also be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their shift.

Summary of Minor Volunteer Waiver
The waiver grants permission for a minor to volunteer at the Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival. A parent or legal guardian acknowledges the responsibilities and potential risks involved, agrees to release the Festival from liability (except in cases of gross negligence), and authorizes emergency medical care if needed. The minor is expected to follow all safety rules and conduct guidelines. The form also includes required signatures from the parent/guardian and the minor.
